SENTECH is committed to maintaining the security and integrity of its products throughout their supported lifecycle. As a manufacturer of advanced plasma processing and thin-film metrology systems, we recognise the importance of cybersecurity in modern laboratory, research and industrial environments.

We continuously work to identify, assess and address cybersecurity risks affecting our products. Our product development, software maintenance and customer support processes are designed to help ensure that SENTECH systems remain secure, reliable and fit for operation throughout their intended lifetime.

Responsible Vulnerability Disclosure

SENTECH welcomes reports from customers, researchers and other stakeholders regarding potential cybersecurity vulnerabilities affecting our products.

If you believe you have identified a security vulnerability in a SENTECH product, we encourage you to report it responsibly using the contact form on this page.

Please provide as much information as possible, including:

  • Product name and model
  • Software or firmware version
  • Serial number (if available)
  • Description of the vulnerability
  • Steps required to reproduce the issue
  • Potential impact
  • Supporting documentation such as screenshots or log files

Reports are reviewed by our Product Security team and handled in accordance with our internal vulnerability management process.

Security Incident Reporting

If you suspect that a cybersecurity incident has affected a SENTECH product, please notify us as soon as possible.

Examples include:

  • Unauthorised access to a system
  • Suspected software compromise
  • Unexpected or malicious system behaviour
  • Security vulnerabilities that could affect product operation
  • Potential weaknesses identified during security testing

Early notification enables us to investigate the issue promptly, assess any potential impact and determine appropriate corrective actions.

Security Updates and Patch Management

SENTECH maintains processes for monitoring, evaluating and addressing cybersecurity vulnerabilities that may affect our products.

Where appropriate, security updates, software patches or firmware updates are developed, tested and made available to customers. Before release, updates undergo validation to help ensure compatibility, reliability and product performance.

Customers will be informed of relevant security updates through appropriate communication channels, including direct customer communications, service organisations or authorised distributors where applicable.

We recommend that customers install security-related updates in accordance with the accompanying release information and maintain supported software versions whenever possible.
